THE RECENT HEADLINES ARE NOT PRETTY!
A few days ago --one of our Sector 2 officers was seriously injured and nearly lost her life. Sgt Marcy Pearce was literally ran over by a young 15 year old ''PUNK''. The officer was involved in a function of serving a juvenile warrant. ----BUT--- in this day and age----NO law enforcement officer, works with out risk!In the past 2 years ,we have lost 2 young area officers, killed on duty ,answering minor calls.
I know that all the Fairways good residents, wish and pray for a quick and full recovery of Sgt. Pearce.
I have sent Capt. Garrison, the commander of Sector 2, an Email on the Fairways residents behalf, to extend a ''get well& speedy recovery'' to Sgt Pearce.
