SOME UPDATES AND AND SOME ODDS & ENDS

                                            THE GATE ISSUE

OTHER KIOSK ENTRIES

FAIRWAYS KIOSK ENTRY

Recently we have had several comments made on our blog about unsafe conditions at the gate [see comments under the ''downside of public'' ] we believe that this is partially due to poor signage ,in the gate approach area.It is becoming evident that HTA is NOT going to revise the entry system.
With all of the increased traffic, created by the ''open to public'' sign,we will have more and more unfamiliar non residents entering the park. THESE PEOPLE NEED DIRECTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS!
The small blue placard  on our kiosk is not even visable until after the driver passes our clearance point.
I have sent an EMAIL to our local management ,with the enclosed picture of a kiosk ''stop sign..

UPDATE ON THE LAWSUIT AGAINST US
The court proceedings, seem to be doing nothing, but running up the attorneys fees.It is the same old legal ''jibberish'' that normal folks are not supposed to understand.
It was reported at the last board meeting that the FHOAI WAS CHANGING ATTORNEYS. The new attorney will be working ''pro-bono''--meaning free. The court records do not reflect the change yet.I believe that the attorney, representing HTA  is an attorney, being paid by their insurance company,
I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND,--HOW A LONG TIME RESIDENT COULD FILE SUCH RIDICULOUS ACTION ,AGAINST THEIR FELLOW NEIGHBORS!

HOW THEY MAY DO IT---THIS IS SCARY  !
A good civic minded resident sent me this link to a video. I was so amazed that I sent it with a note to our good friend Captain Meade at our sector 2.---CLICK THE LINK AND YOU WILL SEE WHY!

That looks good to me Bill at least it's a step in the right direction, also the three red signs in the median after you come in the gate the third sign still has "Fairways Tavern" listed on it as of today!!!

A man on a BMX bike early 20s gray hoodie backpack, just entered the exit gate as I was leaving at 9:45pm tonight 1/16/14. It was obvious that he was waiting to get in to the park.

for all the good it is doing like it is why not take the gates down and lower the rent we pay?

Bill ...just letting you know, the sign with the entry code on it was at the gate. I felt it was not proper to be advertising this. So I pulled up the sign. You weren't home when I droped it at your house. Valerie

The beat goes on as you say Bill..another Friday nite and another front entrance gate standing wide open. I left for work last nite at around 9:45pm and the gate was wide open for the criminals or anyone who wants to drive right on in. We will see how long it takes this time. The front office can say what they always say, that they didn't know about it, but thats hard to believe because they have maintainence on staff Saturday and of course the sales people here even on Sundays.I expect that nothing will be done until Monday because HTA won't want to pay the gate company overtime. the residents security is just not that important to those folks. So get ready for the next crime spree because it will happen. Until such a day comes that HTA accepts the responsibility for residents safety, here we are in the same situation as last year. Kudos for your efforts Bill the system you came up with is way better than what we have, but to convince HTA and the residents that in order to have a secure front gate, the cost must be shared by all. I will be watching the crime reports, thanks again Bill, stay the course, maybe one day people will wake up.
