HELP US WATCH FOR SOME SUSPICIOUS VEHICLES

RECENTLY, THERE HAS BEEN REPORTS OF 2 VEHICLES THAT RAISED RESIDENTS
CURIOSITY!

In the past few days an older black Nissan ,has been described in the following manner. This older model black car has Florida temporary plates --#BRY 3369. Occupants were reported as possibly, 3 young Hispanic males. There is the driver in the front seat, with 2 other young males riding in the rear seat.--There is a round, unidentified white logo on left side of rear window. This car was noticed in numerous area of the community, acting in a suspicious peering manner.
After several calls --Fairways Watch, went out to attempt to locate the vehicle and call 911 for a police check. We were unable to find this particular car at this time. It is a waste of law enforcements time to call 911 without an approximate area of a location.
However--later on we found the car matching previous descriptions, leaving the park. We were able to record the accurate temporary plate information.
At about the same time as reports of the black Nissan,--we also got reports of a black pickup truck, with Florida plate #DHB 159
These occupants were soliciting tree work in the park. --Upon leaving the park, they failed to stop a request by management to stop.--They cursed and went on!
ANY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE 2 DESCRIBED VEHICLES IS UNKNOWN.
It does not take much brain power to see and recognize events like those described above with THE DAMNED NON-WORKING GATES
2+2=4----LAST TIME WE CHECKED!

So, as long as Hometown keeps the gates open (which seems to be everyday)
These issues with continue... I don't really see what can be done if our "gated community" is not gated.. NOT BRAIN SURGERY !! But management does NOT care and continues to leave gates open.....

how much of our rent goes for the gates? if they do not work we should not have to pay,can we turn in our gate openers for our money back?

The gates are open come on in. We know the people can follow others in but at least it is a little bit of a hazard to outsiders but a 9to5 week day person could care less.

Gates will be fixed in 7-10 days do to a gear that had to be ordered. Also this is the time of year that burglaries start to rise up in our community. Lets not make the mistakes of our past again this year. Lock your cars, tell a neighbor if you will be leaving town, and PLEASE start leaving your porch and security lights on at night. If something doesn't look right call Neighborhood Watch and we'll check it out. We will be once again begin increasing our night patrols, but need all the help we can get. Thanks!

I just read on "next-door Fairways" that all our pools have no restrictions. Children can be in all pools at any time. Management decided to change this rule, stating it is not in the prospectus. I have lived here over 10 years and this rule was always in place. Why would they change this and not even let anyone know or have any say? I don't get it anymore...... WOW.. Gates open all day and night...kids anywhere, anytime..... Might as well live across the street and at least pay less rent. Shameful

I believe this all started with the Library lawsuit. Since we are holding them accountable to the letter concerning 723, by laws, and prospectus, they in turn are following the prospectus to the letter. If its not in there, they don't have to give it, and they don't have to give us notice to take it away. Yes, there was a long standing rule regarding kids at the pools, but its not covered in the prospectus so they exercised their right to change it. Maybe with enough phone calls to the office they will reconsider.

All ofus have to realize this is a pretty decent place to live and residents on a whole are nice people it is just the fact we have a non-resident and rotten manager. She will not and does not intend to do anything residents might suggest just pick up my books and pay check and go home.

Well, today is day 7 since Randy posted the gates will be fixed in 7 to 10 days.... As of this morning, they were still open... Lets hope next week it will be resolved. HTA seems to have the longest wait period to get parts..... They can put in a new house faster.....

Well, we waited the 7 to 10 days....and still gates are fully opened all the time... Honestly, I don't believe "waiting for a part" .....

Last night I went out to the store at 7:30PM... The entrance gate was fully open for any and all to come in.... This is really unacceptable, yet management just keeps blowing residents off with some bogus story... parts, selling homes, blah, blah, blah.... This is NOT a gated community

Gates will be fixed was posted above on May 27th - "gates will be fixed within 7 to 10 days" .... Here we are Jun 13th...... Gates still open .. 24/7
Why bother even asking the management anymore.
