Boy, does that sound good!!! But when we do that about problems we never get any feed back. So we never know whether the problem has been received or is being looked into. Now Priscilla if you want us to follow your directions how about keeping us informed by return mail or a phone call or a knock on the door??????????

I strongly disagree with her ''advice''. All HTA is doing is to try and hide behind the fears of some older law abiding residents. Some damnable ,pill popping drinking fools have been able to intimidate and scare some older folks into being afraid and quiet! It was announced at a board meeting, several months ago that a county inspector seen some of this mess and threatened to shut our pools down. Evidently Priscilla can't accept the county inspector written ''blogging report'' either.
The problem of handling a problem like ''drunk city'' should not be dumped on peace loving, abiding older residents.
The actions of the offending residents, should not also reflect upon others that responsibly enjoy adult beverages at the pools
THATS RIGHT HTA GO HIDE YOUR HEAD IN THE OFFICE!

We have called a few times thru the years about problems and never knew whether they were looked into or not. They were never fixed for sure so is the office just throwing us another smoke screen????? Another statement from Miss Priss that does not hold any water??? She does live in here and for sure a call to her cell phone on weekends and holidays will not mean a thing!!!!!! If we do call with a problem what action is she going to take with being miles away????? What does the future bring more of the same as the last 4 to 5 years!!!!!!

I have emailed Priscilla many times with issues, and have ALWAYS gotten a response, within a few hours. On the other hand, if I see something good, I also let her know its a good thing. Maybe a few positive words once in a while would make for better communications. Which I believe is what we ALL want. If you see something, say something. (not three days later)

Anon 8:50 - Good for you! If you don't file a complaint with HTA there isn't anything they can do. I also agree with you that when things are done right we should take a minute to let them know that as well.

OH PLEASE.GIVE ME A BREAK. LIKE HOW LONG HAS THIS CRAP BEEN GOING ON. "" REALLY PRISCILLA " THIS IS ALL NEWS TO YOU? HOW DUMB DO YOU THINK WE ARE? MAYBE WE NEED TO HAVE MR PERRY LOOK INTO THIS MATTER. I CONSIDER THIS TO BE A VERY UNSAFE SIDUATiON FOR THE RESIDENTS.

I agree 100persent with 11:30.look how long it took to get the drug pushers out of the masters pool. Look how long it took to get the scumbags that where breaking into our homes.Do you think HTA had any thing to do with that.Hell no. It took some of our great residents and some well placed phone calls to end our nightmare . So tell me if you really belief that HTA is going to put a stop to the awful situation we have at the pools. To 9:07. When was the last time you saw HTA do any thing right where we are concerned.

I am throwing this in about the gates. I understand everyone is commenting on the pool today but.... The gates are a huge topic for us all.
Every time that I come to visit my Mother the gates are open. Security! I do believe that the abundance of green that stuffs the pockets of Hometown each month (this property alone)...should be more than an ample amount to fix the gates or to hire a security guard.
This is a very serious topic to sons, daughters and family of the elderly who support this fine homestead.
Does anyone agree with me.

Yes I think Hometown America could be in real serious legal trouble if a elderly senior gets hurt by a drunken nit wit at a pool. If Hometown thinks the library law suit is bad, then they have not seen anything compared to Morgan and Morgan going after them about out of control drunks that they were made aware of many times. I guess that even a county inspector gave them a written warning about the alcohol. Morgan and Morgan would like to get a copy of that one
I think Hometown management is more afraid of the crazy drunks than the normal people are if they are not afraid of them, why not do something?

Do you know how many times Miss Priss has told about residents where more the than the legal residents live????? There has not one follow up or warning given to these places, or at least there has been no proof of anything having been done. Does anyone have proof these places have had a warning????

Miss Priss you will do something if you know who the trouble makers are at the pool how about if we provide you with a license number of the people who run the gate without an opener, will you do something to these people??????

Alot of concerns about SECURITY for us newer residents. We have our own security guard? No. Then why is there a building at the gate?????!!!!
Since we have been here, we find out more and more bullstuff. This HTA is definitely hiding. Its a shamefully place to call home. We can't imagine living the rest of our lives here, unsafe!

Why do think they leave the guard house there, just to suck in you people. Miss Priss is no dummy the longer you are here the more you will find that out. Nice to hear from newer residents to back up some of us that have seen this ruination of this park the last few years!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone ever had an answer from the last blog as to why the signs are missing from the pools ????????????????

I feel like I'm back at work dealing with middle school students. You don't have to like HTA or Mrs Herrick but that doesn't give you the right to be disrespectful and rude. If you treat her like this in person do not complain when she ignors you and your concerns!

Anon 12:53 - Do you understand that the reason we use times here is to identify posters who hide behind the Anonymous moniker? I am not 9:07, I am Charley and thus far the only one not hiding who I am. I won't say that I don't have complaints now and then, who doesn't? Overall I am very happy to be living in Fairway's. The new Master's is very nice. I'm looking forward to trying out the Pickleball courts. I think Judith Stebbins has been a welcome addition to our community.

I am a newish resident and I have never had a problem with HTA but I have with a few bad apples that live here. I guess I am very lucky to have good neighbors. We were well aware that there was no guard at the gate and that it was very easy to simply follow of cars in before we moved here. My personal opinion is that the gates should be open during business hours and closed at night. We have a public golf course, nurses, physical therapists, home aides, medical goods deliveries, etc, etc, coming in daily and we need them to be able to come in. The gates give people a false sense of security. If "bad guys" want to get in they will find a way.

For Mrs Herrick to give you "proof" of what has been done to follow up on a complaint about a specific resident would violate their rights. I can't see HTA ever having to to send me a letter threatening action against me but if they do they better not be discussing it with some anonymous resident.

Good answer, Charley. I also always post my name so people know what I stand for and gives credability to what we are feeling. If Priscilla heard more from residents with names rather than anonymous blog comments she has said she would react much differently. Good for you!

I agree with the gates should be left open ( 6 A.M. TO 8 P.M. would be ideal ) ,,,would definitely cut down the amount of tim
es it breaks down,,,

There was a problem at the Masters pool today concerning a pool light that was loose and looked potentially dangerous. Priscilla was called, answered the phone, called Ed and had the problem taken care of immediately. That was a GREAT response, and hopefully the start of a better line of communication between them and us!

Randy - That is great!

We are not looking into personal matters on "we have checked on the problem and are looking to make the problem right". Sorry you took it the wrong way!!!!!!!!!!
