We should all be able to enjoy our great holiday in a PEACEFUL environment.Fairways Watch has received numerous complaint calls regarding illegal fireworks in our retirement community.
Not only does the loud explosions disturb the residents ,but also the loving pets and our beautiful wildlife.
Our community rules, in our new prospectus, states that there will be no fireworks discharged in our community. [page 14]
In addition to our own rules, the Florida laws prohibit most fireworks in a NON COMMERCIAL manner.

Florida law prohibits any fireworks that fly through the air or explode — such as Roman candles, bottle rockets and mortars — for recreational use. But according to state law, if they are used to scare off birds from farms or fish hatcheries, the explosives are fair game.Jul 1, 2013

I would encourage concerned residents to call 911
Fairways Watch will not only call law enforcement
but will also take pictures and send them to HTA!
