BACK BEHIND THE WALL!

             SUNDAY MORNING SURPRISE!

Early Sunday morning --2 good residents, notified Fairways Watch, of some valuable items left behind our front brick wall!

The items included --a Dell lap top, with all accessories--security ID tags for a government contractor, and an assortment, thought to be many papers related to engineering projects.
Fairways Watch secured the items and called for a deputy to meet us.
Upon arrival the officer was able to obtain a cell number, belonging to the name on the security tags.
After the number was called-- the owner ,answered--he was just waking up and did not know that his car had been burglarized!
The owner lives in south Florida,--and was visiting friends, near by in Avalon Park.
The good deputy got the address of where the victim was staying and arranged to meet him and return his property.
Folks , I hate to say this--but--our near by Avalon Park is becoming the ''auto burglary capitol'' of Orange county!
The officer agreed that once the theives seen their loot--they discarded it--due to the possible digital,GPS tracking--the thieves were probably headed back to ''crime hills''
SEE FOLKS-- IT PAYS ---IF YOU SEE SOMETHING --SAY SOMETHING''
A SPECIAL THANKS TO THOSE 2 RESIDENTS THAT CARED!

Bill, with your knowledge of things what is the metal box attached to the new office by the parking lot? Is it some sort of drop box for lot payments?

Cameras at this location would have been great !

Re anon 11:54
I believe that you are referring to our new "mini-elevator" for handicap people-- The lift is located on the left front side of the new office building.

Can a wheel chair and the passenger fit into that box also what would be the temperature inside of that at 3 in the afternoon. It just seems to me a ramp would have been less expensive and better.

Read the Eagle and see where Miss Priss is concerned about speeders which is great but does she know much of those are her vendors. Get out Miss Priss and watch the mowing crew, watch the trash people on Wed. etc. That would not be a cure all but it would be a good start and with a few phone calls we cut down on all the speeding.

Hey, 8:01 how right you are Tue after the garbage was picked up the garbage truck came the other way doing at least 40-50 mph---flying!!!!!! Not much later came a white pickup hauling a trailer doing at least 30.

If any resident breaks a rule in the prospectus Miss Priss gets all over the resident even to the point of serving an eviction notice refer to the pink house but she broke the LAW aka the 90 day notice law she now holds a grudge because the residents are finally fighting back she should have had about the restaurant. Miss Priss just remember what goes around comes around. If you want to be treated with respect you will need to do the same with the residents. When you look in a mirror and the person looking back is a BULLY that is the way you can expect to be treated.

What happened to Miss Priss's Fairways Bulletin, did it go out with the "little green men"?

The light pink house you are referring to is actually very nice. The work they put into that house has made it look so much more appealing and brightens up the dull block. I cant believe that is a violation. Has she looked at the ugly blue and awful green houses around? I hope they can keep this color on the home.

Bill noticed on nextdoor your comment about all the houses for sale on Spyglass we think besides the motorcycle the P. H. content in this park is way to high!!!!!!!! Bill if you could would you put your comment here and nextdoor both ???? We have reading this blog and not nextdoor.

Its bad enough that we have two houses painted in Green Bay Packers colors .

Miss Priss maybe you should take time to take care of in-house problems. Why was there someone taking pictures of the "pink" house sat ?? We know we will never find out the answers to a lot of these problems because of the "privacy" concerns.

Jeanne if Steve will not pay attention to unsigned letters and you and the board feel it is worthy of consideration maybe you can get a copy from Bonnie, sign it from the board. As Randy mentioned we feel we need the board to step it up a bit. Why do we all as residents have to follow the prospectus and she does not? We really believe between this blog and nextdoor if we back each other up maybe just maybe we can finally get some positive things done !!

Have been reading about the delay of the bingo repair maybe a couple comments or questions here will clear it up a little. First is Miss Priss the one ordering the equipment? Second does some of the money each week benefit the HOA? If the answer to both those questions is an yes, put 2 plus 2 !!!!!!!

Bill, do you or any of the readers have an update on 1. Trudy and the pink house 2. the felons here in the park 3. the health of Brandon 4. whether Ms Priss will follow the prospectus as we are expected to do etc.

Don't try to figure it out. Just like we all had to get our "pool access card" on certain dates (2 week window), yet none of them are working and I heard not going to be active until Snow Birds come back. 1) Why did we have to get them if not useable and 2) why do we have to wait for snow birds. They can get them when they come back.... meanwhile, Weekends is a kiddie pool delight...
