SHERIFF REPORT FOR PEBBLE BEACH INCIDENT

BELOW YOU WILL FIND THE OFFICIAL, SUMMARY NARRATIVE FOR THE INCIDENT ON PEBBLE BEACH LAST THURSDAY.-- It may be that the perpetrator'' is not one of the brightest lights on the tree'' It seems that he thought that a ''stupid dog'' could not find him in the closet!---As'' ole Gomer Pyle'' used to say---'SURPRISE--SURPRISE''.----oh yeah ,dumb dog!
The suspect,[per public record] has had other ''run ins'' with the law, including felony arrests.

If you are feeling a bit warm in the current UK heatwave, just image how you would feel wearing a fur coat. Seven- month old Molly, who is just beginning her training as a Greater Manchester Police dog, was staying cool in the shade this morning at the Force’s dog training base. In a few months - with luck - Molly will be at work on the streets of the city, but for know she is just playing it cool. www.gmp.police.uk

Question, if he had permission to be in the home to use the computer, why was the house dark and no vehicle? What a bunch of bull. How did he get into the park? Sounds a little shaky to me. It is a far walk from the unguarded gate. Was our fearless leader Priscilla called? Does anyone here know exactly what walks among us????? We aren't even safe in our own homes. Something has to be done before one of US gets hurt! Is our sex offender still here on Firestone?? I think his time for eviction is way past.

Pricilla says it's a "long process" to evict someone once they are here, I would guess another 5-6 months. Face facts, NOTHING is going to be done about security at the gate so we may as well quit beating that dead horse. We are all we have to watch out for each other so we better start getting along and take that on ourselves. Hiding scared and staying quiet will bring no peace to anyone.

I suspect there is more that the home owner knows. Why would a home owner give permission to a non resident to come to her home when no one is there and use her computer? That sounds very suspicious to me. I have no evidence but have been told there have been other suspicious things going on at that home. It just doesn't add up. I don't think we need those kind of homeowners here. We can blame the gate security and the office but when the home owners create more drama, we have to question their motives. The Sheriff's dept did a great job but when no one will press charges, I wouldn't blame them if next time they are needed here, they take their time and go to other calls first. We can thank the homeowners for that. THANKS.

RE ANON 9:02
I must respectfully disagree with both you and Priscilla!--Case in point--It does not take long to evict a resident when there is due cause. Example Orange county court file--#2014-cc-005491-0--This was an eviction case filed by HTA on June 2 2014.This case was closed July 8 2014. and signed by the judge in favor of HTA.
We should never give up on wanting some common sense form of security at the gate. HTA, s proposal was nothing but a scheme to ''rip off'' residents--WE NEED TO HANG IN THERE!--IT IS NOT A DEAD HORSE UNLESS WE THE RESIDENTS SHOOT THE HORSE!
You are correct in stating that we need to watch out for one another.----BUT--- We do not have to do that alone. WE HAVE GOT THE BEST GROUP OF SHERIFF,S DEPUTIES IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. WE NEED TO USE THEM TO OUR FULL ADVANTAGE.
Lastly I do not believe that residents are hiding ''scared''--- Last Thursday night, that was proven!

RE ANON 9;31
I agree with you completely! This whole mess has a smell to it! There were some other interesting facts on the public records cover sheet of the report. ---The suspect had a cell phone ,with an area code, from the upper peninsula of Michigan. His FL drivers license is suspended--- He had no visible means of transportation---born in Haiti ---lives in Winter Park---AND HE WAS IN HERE TO USE SOMEONES COMPUTER???
This case may not be closed!

It all sounds very fishy.... I suspect there is more to this situation than the resident wants us to know. However, I am grateful to the resident who called and to the Sheriff's department. They did an outstanding job and should be acknowledged for their prompt response of the situation. The Fire Department, Ambulance and Police do an excellent job at the Fairways and I hope there will be an appreciation day for them.

Again if Bill's proposal for the security system, HTA would at that point have to know wh is in here before issuing a tag to get in. Now if it's control HTA wants, it would seem they could easily turn off any access(such as the sex offender) and they would be notified immediately if the came in the gate..The system provided would include cameras at various locations, like the pools and would be monitored 24 hours a day and they would be able to hear what is going on plus be able to speak to the offender telling them they are calling the police. If it's the cost Hometown, think the security system is more important than remodeling the Masters. New carpet and paint would be just fine.

THANK YOU ANON 8;06
Well said--I know that there are many more ,good ,concerned ,residents, such as you and I, that share the same thoughts. THE GATE ISSUE IS NOT A''DEAD HORSE'' if we do not let it die.---once again THANK YOU!
