The pavement and drain grate on Pebble Beach,14200 block has deteriorated to a hazardous condition.A situation such as this is not only a concern for residents but also to our safety forces and service vehicles.
In all fairness to HTA,---This exact same area was put under a major repair, about 5 years ago , for the same failure. At that time an outside contractor was brought in, with a large 2yd ,crawler excavator, and used it with a deep dig ,safety trench box. This repair project took many weeks and had various complications during the work. The liability of fault for this second failure, must partly lie with the CONTRACTOR and ORANGE COUNTY CODE ENFORCEMENT INSPECTORS!
As a side note--a special salute to our fantastic EMS folks. It certainly is a challenge to transport patients on East colonial, due to the construction mess. A scene such as above only contributes to their woes!----Bless the folks in the blue suits and the red trucks--We are grateful.

I just don't get it. Everyone knew that this drain has been sinking for the past several years, and was in need of major repairs. what was managements response? Management recently installed an expensive, unneeded concrete sidewalk at the unused tennis courts.
By the way--does any one know what the ''crime scene tape'' at the boccie ball court is all about?
Re 1:31 . Word has it that Orange County says bleachers are unsafe.
Yes. It seems that bleachers are not safe.
if the bleachers are unsafe how in heavens name did they pass inspection? or was a permit from the city needed
there was no permit pulled for the bleachers---thus they were never inspected---is what we have heard
look around the corner on greenway ct. it has sunk a lot also
These bleachers were installed without any plans sent to the county, & no permit was issued, therefore, there was no inspection made. Code enforcement was called & they said it does not meant code. They need hand rails on the ends & a back rail, to protect from any falls.
